VASTERA SPEEDCHAIN FORM ALLIANCE    Vastera, based in Dulles, Va., a provider of trade management solutions, and Speedchain, a provider of supply chain solutions, have agreed to offer integrated services to mid-tier companies in the United States and Europe.
'    Speedchain will use Vastera’s Internet-based software applications to offer customers “a more affordable means to run their supply chain operations,” said Jonathan Himoff, chief executive officer of Speedchain, which is based in London.
   “By adding Vastera’s solutions to Speedchain’s Value-Added Application Service Platform (VASP) infrastructure,” Speedchain will be able to expedite “moving goods across international borders,” said Mark Ferrer, chief operating officer of Vastera.
