Union-Transport, one of the world’s largest international air
forwarders, has acquired Dutch freight forwarder Sea-Air Transport. Terms
were not disclosed.
Sea-Air serves a customer base of Asian importers to the Netherlands
from offices at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and the Port of Rotterdam.
U-T has grown rapidly in recent years by acquiring and integrating the
operations of various smaller forwarders worldwide. The forwarding
conglomerate has headquarters in the U.S., the U.K. and South Africa.
