The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to increase the Federal Maritime Commission’s budget for the next two years.
The authorization, which still requires Senate action, would be $15,685,000 for fiscal 2000 and $16,312,00 for fiscal 2001. The Administration requested $15 million for fiscal 2000.
