TWO 5,652-TEU SHIPS TO JOIN LLOYD TRIESTINO/EVERGREEN PACIFIC SERVICES    Lloyd Triestino, the Italian shipping line owned by the Evergreen group, has launched the LT Universo, a new 5,652-TEU post-Panamax containerships built by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries shipyard.
   In mid March, the Italian carrier also will take delivery of the LT Unica, a sistership of the LT Universo. The LT Universo will be delivered to the carrier at the end of May.
   Both 5,652-TEU vessels will join the transpacific container services of Lloyd Triestino and Evergreen by the end of May, where they will replace smaller containerships.
   Lloyd Triestino already employs a 5,652-TEU ship from the same series, the LT Usodimare, in its CEM service linking Asia, the Mediterranean and North Europe.
   All three ships have a length of 285 meters, a post-Panamax beam of 40 meters and a draft of 12.7 meters. They have a service speed of 25 knots and fly the Italian flag.
   A spokesman for Lloyd Triestino said the delivery of these three new vessels will bring its fleet up to 15 vessels.
