PS Logistics adquiere un transportador de plataforma de Oklahoma

PS Logistics ha anunciado que una de sus filiales, DMT Trucking LLC, ha adquirido Daryl Thomason Trucking Inc.

La transacción fortalecerá las operaciones de camiones planos de PS Logistics en todo el suroeste y le proporcionará terminales adicionales en Broken Bow, Oklahoma, y Nashville, Arkansas, según los líderes de la compañía.

“Estamos deseando trabajar con sus magníficos conductores de plataforma y su grupo de operaciones y continuar con su servicio al cliente de primera categoría”, dijo Scott Smith, director general y cofundador de PS Logistics.

Los términos financieros de la transacción no fueron revelados.

Daryl Thomason y su esposa, Shelly, fundaron la empresa en 1978 con un solo camión. Con sede en Broken Bow, Daryl Thomason Trucking tiene ahora 108 tractores y 167 tráileres de 53 pies.

PS Logistics , con sede en Birmingham (Alabama), cuenta con 26 sedes en el sur, el medio oeste y la costa este. La empresa opera una flota de más de 2.000 unidades de potencia y 4.000 tráileres. 

Desde 2007, PS Logistics ha adquirido 22 operaciones de transporte y corretaje. En agosto, PS Logistics adquirió Patriot Transit, con sede en Houston, una operación de camiones de plataforma con 75 conductores.
