Select has been available to Northwest's U.S. customers for shipments to Asia and Europe since November last year. Northwest will expand coverage to include Japan to Asia Sept. 15 and from Europe to North America in October.
Expansion will continue to eastbound transpacific routes from Asia to North America in 2001.
Northwest and long-time partner KLM Cargo jointly developed the Select product line, which offers expedited delivery, standard delivery and deferred delivery options.
