NCBFAA AFFIRMS “COMPLETE SUPPORT” OF U.S. CUSTOMS
The National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America affirms its “complete support” to the U.S. Customs Service in the wake of last week’s terrorist attacks in Washington and New York.Peter H. Powell Sr., president of the Washington-based association, told Customs Acting Commissioner Charles Winwood in a letter that “be assured that, during these difficult times for the Customs Service, NCBFAA and all of its members will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with you to do what is necessary.”
“Our goals in the public interest have always been the same,” Powell added.
