HANJIN ADDS 3RD 5,618-TEU SHIP TO PACIFIC/ASIA/EUROPE SERVICE    Hanjin Shipping has phased in a third new 5,618-TEU containership into its “Pacific Southwest Pendulum 1” weekly service, which calls at ports in North America, Asia and Europe.
   The 26-knot “Hanjin Brussels” is chartered by Hanjin from the German finance and shipowning company Gebab.
   The new ship and two sisterships built last year are deployed in the “Pacific Southwest Pendulum 1” service operated by Hanjin, DSR-Senator and Cho Yang within the United Alliance. They replace smaller and slower vessels in this service.
   Hanjin said that it will introduce two more 5,600-TEU-type vessels by the end of the year and another two in 2001.
   The “Pacific Southwest Pendulum 1” service has a rotation of Long Beach, Oakland,    Tokyo, Osaka, Busan, Hong Kong, Port Kelang, Colombo, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Le Havre, Singapore, Yantian, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Long Beach and Oakland
