FreightWaves named to 2018 CNBC Upstart 100 list

FreightWaves has been named to the 2018 CNBC Upstart 100 List, “a new original list of the brightest, most intriguing, young startups promising to become the great companies of tomorrow.” CNBC launched the Upstart List in 2017 with the Upstart 25. In 2018 CNBC has expanded the number of start-ups on the list from 25 to 100, “highlighting more companies breaking industry barriers on the path to becoming tomorrow’s household names.”

To be selected for the CNBC Upstart 100, CNBC sought technology-driven startups that are experiencing rapid growth due to their innovative products, apps, tools or services. Companies were scored on a wide range of quantitative metrics including scalability, sales and user growth, intellectual property and more.

Companies had to meet the following eligibility requirements: private and independently owned; five years old or younger; Series B or earlier in their funding; raised a maximum of $50 million in funding, regardless of series.
