John Patterson, former president of Total Logistics Control, and former
Schneider Logistics executives Michael McClelland and Gregory Morello have formed a
new supply-chain management company, KNGT Logistics Inc.
Patterson will lead the new non-asset-based company. Before joining
TLC, he worked with the Schneider organization for 16 years. McClelland,
formerly general manager of paper industry solutions for Schneider
Logistics, will serve as vice president of operations with KNGT Logistics.
Morello, who was vice president of marketing and sales operations at
Schneider, will serve as vice president of marketing and technology
strategy for KNGT.
Phoenix-based Knight Transportation Inc. is financing the new investors.
Kevin Knight and Gary Knight, CEO and president of Knight Transportation,
respectively, will serve on KNGT Logistics’ board of directors.
