FAR EAST/SOUTH AFRICA CONFERENCES RAISES WESTBOUND RATES
The Japan and Hong Kong/South Africa Shipping Conference has
increased its westbound rates to South Africa by $200 per 20-foot container and $400 per
40-footer.
The members of the conference are "K" Line, Maersk Line,
Malaysia International Shipping Corp., Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, NYK, P&O Nedlloyd and
Safmarine.
