Class 8 truck orders have stayed high for six consecutive months, but the fulfillment of those orders has been much slower. On this episode of Transmission, Sebastian Blanco and Grace Sharkey look at the factors contributing to the slow fulfillment.

The Biden administration is taking the semiconductor chip shortage seriously, calling a virtual meeting with big players in automotive and tech to figure out how to increase domestic production. However, the administration is receiving warning from the Truck and Engine Manufacturing Association that delays in production may lead to purchasing demands not being filled.
