The U.S. Commerce Department said it will exclude certain producers and exporters from the ongoing countervailing duty order on softwood lumber from Canada starting Friday.
Commerce determined de minimis countervailable subsidy rates for D&G, MLI, NAFP, Roland and Lemay.
Therefore, Customs and Border Protection will discontinue the suspension of liquidation and collection of cash deposits of estimated countervailing duties on all shipments of softwood lumber produced and exported by those companies. CBP also will refund all cash deposits of estimated countervailing duties collected on those shipments.
