Executive Moves: Delta, Chain.io

Airline names managing director of cargo operations; supply chain integration platform hires two vice presidents.    Delta Air Lines has appointed Rafael Figueroa as managing director of cargo operations and customer experience.
This fall Figueroa will transition from Aeromexico Cargo to Delta Cargo to lead a team of more than 1,600 employees. The appointment is part of an international talent exchange program between Delta and Aeromexico that aims to share best practices and skills across all areas of the business.
Figueroa has 12 years of experience in the airline industry. He most recently served as vice president of Aeromexico Cargo. Prior to that he was vice president of ground handling for Aeromexico and chairman of the board of SkyTeam Cargo Alliances.

Supply chain integration platform Chain.io, headquartered in Philadelphia, has hired Kurt Corman as vice president of sales and Mike Young as vice president of client success.
Corman brings extensive logistics experience, having held senior roles with major logistics service providers and key industry technology firms over the last 18 years. He will lead sales and business development as Chain.io further expands its service offerings for shippers.
Young has led large initiatives in the apparel industry to deliver key end-to-end supply chain solutions and most recently was the project lead on large e-commerce rollouts for shipper distribution sites. His responsibilities will include new client projects and ownership of the company’s project management.
