ANSWERTHINK PARTNERS WITH I2 TECHNOLOGIES    Answerthink Inc., an e-commerce solutions provider based in Miami, has announced a strategic alliance with i2 Technologies Inc, a Dallas-based global provider of software and related services, to build B2B marketplaces.
   The two companies are working from i2’s TradeMatrix platform. “We are able to leverage i2’s technology to implement e-marketplaces faster with reduced risk,” said Alan Rudolph, answerthink’s managing director for business applications.
   “Industry consortia, start-up companies, and global corporations are all looking at online marketplaces as a way to collaborate and reduce costs,” said Michael Ellis, senior vice president at i2.
   “This partnership,” Ellis explained, offers a “comprehensive methodology for creating (Web-based) exchanges.”
